Jill Santoro - Gym Owner and Manager, Competitive Team Head Coach and Recreational Instructor
Jill is a USAG Professional member, is Safety Certified and has a competed Background Check and U100. Before opening X-treme Gymnastics, Jill coached at several local gyms, lead the gymnastics program at the Brook Park Recreational Center and was the Head Coach of the Southland YWCA Gymnastics team until they were forced to shut their doors. With a team by her side and her goal of having her own business, Jill opened X-treme Gymnastics with her husband and four daughters in August of 2003.
Mario Santoro - Gym Owner and Manager
Mario is the man behind the scenes that keeps the gym maintained and up and running. He opened X-treme Gymnastics with his wife, Jill, and four daughters in August of 2003.
Valerie Santoro - Gym Manager, Competitive Team Head Coach, TOPS Instructor
Valerie is from Brook Park, Ohio. Valerie started gymnasts when she was eleven years old after many years of begging. She trained under her mother, Jill, at the local YWCA. In 2003, when X-treme Gymnastics opened, Valerie began to coach alongside her mother. She started out by helping with preschool and recreational classes and eventually grew into the competitive team head coach for the compulsory and optional levels. As a former gymnast, cheerleader and dancer, she also specializes in optional level routine choreography. Alongside coaching at X-treme, Valerie is also the Head Coach of the Berea-Midpark High School Gymnastics Team. She has also coached the North Olmsted High School Gymnastics Team and individuals from Bay HS, Midview HS and Padua HS. She is highly motivated in carrying on the family business. Valerie is a USAG Professional Member, is Safety Certified and has a completed background check and U100. She is also American Red Cross CPR certified.
Michelle Santoro - Gym Manager, Competitive Team Instructor
Michelle is from Brook Park, Ohio. She has been working at X-treme Gymnastics with her family since they opened in August of 2003. Upon graduating Midpark High School in 2007, Michelle went onto further her education at The University of Akron, where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Consumer Marketing in August 2011. Michelle is a USAG Professional Member, is Safety Certified and has a completed Background Check and U100.
Jennifer Santoro - Competitive Team, Pre Team, and Recreational Instructor
Jennifer is from Brook Park, Ohio. She is a senior at Berea-Midpark High School, and also attends the Polaris Career Institute where she is studying Interactive Multimedia. Jennifer has been with X-treme with her family since it first opened in 2003. She was a previous member of the X-treme Gymnastics Competitive Team, as well as the Berea-Midpark High School Gymnastics team. Her favorite thing about coaching is working with the children and seeing them so excited to learn about gymnastics. Away from the gym, Jennifer enjoys reading, drawing, traveling, and spending time with her friends. One thing Jennifer would like to tell her students is to never give up on what makes you happy, and to keep working hard to achieve your goals! Jennifer is a USAG Professional Member, Safety and Risk Management Certified and has a completed U100.
Geneva (Genie) Thome - Competitive Team Instructor
Genie is originally from Columbus, Ohio. Before joining with X-treme Gymnastics in January 2012, she owned Thome Gymnastics for 34 years and worked as a receptionist for an additional 10 years. As a former gymnast herself, Genie was a member of the Swiss Turners Competitive Team. Her favorite thing about coaching is working with the children. Outside of the gym she enjoys furthering her education in coaching as well as judging local competitions. Genie would like tell all her students to work hard and dream big, because anything can be accomplished through hard work!
Genie is a USA Women's Gymnastics Judge, USAG Professional Member, Safety and Risk Management Certified, CPR & First Aid Certified and has a completed Background Check and U100.
Corrine Williams - Competitive Team and TOPS Instructor
Corrine is originally from Newark, Delaware. A gymnast herself for a total of 19 years, Corrine trained with Diamond Gymnastics in New Castle, Delaware from 1993 to 2006 where she earned her Level 10 status. From 2006 to 2008 she trained at First State Gymnastics where she continued to compete Level 10. Upon graduating High School, Corrine moved to Philadelphia, PA to attend Temple University where she was a member of their NCAA Women's Gymnastics Team from 2008 to 2012. Academically, Corrine earned her Bachelor's degree in Biological Anthropology and Certificate in French from Temple University. While attending college, Corrine continued to coach at First State Gymnastics from 2007 to 2013.
Corrine moved to Ohio and joined with X-treme Gymnastics in April 2014. Currently, she is a pre-dental post baccalaureate student at Cleveland State University. She is also doing some work in film as a stunt woman and featured extra. Her favorite thing about gymnastics is that it tests the limits of human performance. She enjoys inspiring others to go faster, push harder, and be stronger in an effort to become better versions of themselves in the gym and in every other aspect of their lives. Away from the gym, Corrine enjoys exercising, studying, exploring the city, cooking, taking naps and watching her favorite television shows. She would like to leave her students with an inspirational quote from Muhammad Ali, who admitted to hating having to train. "Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion." - Muhammad Ali

Deanna Eschenauer - Competitive Team and Recreational Instructor
Deanna is from Strongsville, Ohio. A former gymnast herself, Deanna started gymnastics when she was six years old, and trained under Jill at the local YWCA. When X-treme Gymnastics opened in 2003, Deanna continued to compete. She went onto becoming a member of the Strongsville High School's Women's Gymnastics Team from 2004 to 2008. During this time, Deanna also became a coach for X-treme Gymnastics and has been on our staff ever since. Academically, Deanna graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Middle Childhood Education. Alongside coaching, she is currently employed at North Ridgeville Middle School where she teaches eighth grade math. Her favorite thing about coaching is interacting with the gymnasts and seeing their enthusiasm towards the sport. She loves helping them learn new skills and watching them grow into great gymnasts and people. Away from the gym, Deanna enjoys running, practicing yoga, reading, traveling and exploring new and exciting places with friends. Deanna's advice to her students is "Always try their best and give it your all. I'm here for you, to help you succeed!"

Lucy Buckholtz - Recreational Instructor
Lucy is a USAG member. She is a senior at Berea-Midpark High School where she is a member of their gymnastics, track and field, and cheer and competition cheerleading teams.

Melissa is a USAG member. She has been a member of our competitive team since 2003 and is currently competing in Level 8. She has been doing gymnastics since she was 2 years old and has been competing since the age of 4.
2014: USAG Level 7 3rd Place State Champion on Beam (8.85)
